The 27th International Congress of the Society for the Law of the Eastern Churches will be taking place from 31 August - 4 September 2026 in Budapest, Hungary. The topic of the Congress will be "The Bishop of Rome: Future Horizons from Ancient Traditions for Catholics and Orthodox."​​
